Polish Space Agency commissioned an initial feasibility study of radar imaging satellite system. The Agreement between POLSA and PZL "Warszawa-Okecie" SA was signed on the 22th of December, 2015. The study is to determine, among others, the future users and the exact range of applications in Poland of the satellite SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar - synthesized aperture radar) on the basis of the needs of the Polish Armed Forces, state security services and the administration and the national economy.

In the Tri-City there will be a new course of master studies opening, called: Space & Satellite Technologies. It will be an interdisciplinary educational project run by the 3 universities of technology of Tri-City: the Technical University of Gdansk, Gdynia Maritime Academy and Naval Academy in Gdynia. Polish Space Agency will support the project - its experts will run classes and gives lectures to students.
