Polish Space Agency for the first time participated in the International Exhibition ILA Berlin Air Show, which took place on 1-4 June 2016 in Berlin.

Participation in the event held an opportunity to meet with representatives of national space agencies and discussions with entrepreneurs about the challenges associated with the development of the Polish space sector.

Polish Space Agency presented on the exhibition stand together with the Voivodship Podkarpackie, Rzeszów City and the Association "Aviation Valley". The stand was located in hall 3, in which the exhibitors also included the Ministry of Defense and foreign companies and entities from the aviation sector and the military.

During the official opening, President Marek Banaszkiewicz presented the main areas of activity of the Agency. President and Vice President, Defense Colonel Peter Suszyński and representatives of the Department of Defense and the Department of Design Strategy and International Cooperation held during the fair a number of interesting conversations with representatives of the Polish and international companies from the space sector. They were also held meetings with representatives of national space agencies.

ILA Berlin Air Show 2016 - this year's event is the largest aviation and aerospace in Europe. The show has gathered more than 1,000 exhibitors from 37 countries and around 150 thousand visitors. The event was organized by BDLI (German Aerospace Industries Association) and Messe Berlin GmbH.
