Day of the Polish Space Industry in the ESOC
Fifteen Polish companies participated in a meeting with representatives of the ESA and five European consortia implementing ESA contracts, organized on September 27, 2016 by the European Space Agency (ESOC) Space Operations Center and the Polish Comic Agency.
The main objective of the event was to establish contacts and conduct talks on the possibility of business cooperation in the management of space operations and ground station operations between Polish entities and ESA representatives and consortium representatives who will implement the GOF9 multi-year framework contract (Ground Segment and Operation Framework Contract, edit ninth). These consortiums are recognized by European players such as GMV Aerospace and Defense S.A.U. Telespazio VEGA Deutschland GmbH (DE), LSE Space GmbH (DE) and Vitrociset Belgium Sprl (BE).

Polish entrepreneurs presented during their meeting their potential and competences in the areas related to: With: launching of space missions, communications, maneuvering and maneuvering of satellites, terrestrial space observation, satellite navigation, creation and development of terrestrial infrastructure for satellite communications (eg antennas), as well as issues related to time accuracy (design and manufacture of equipment A measurement device for precise comparisons of atomic clocks).
The day of the Polish Space Agency at the Space Operations Center of the European Space Agency in Darmstadt was organized on the initiative of the Polish Space Agency. POLSA, as an entity supporting the actions of Polish companies in the space sector, counts that presentations on ESA ground station operations and the dozens of meetings held during this visit, both with ESOC representatives and European consortia, will bring measurable benefits to the national actors and bring them together.
