POLSA at MSPO 2016
The Polish Space Agency had its stand at the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce.
For the first time POLSA hosted the MSPO organized on 6-9 September 2016 in Kielce. The armaments industry is an important branch of the space industry, and so many of the space industry companies have been present at the Kielce Fair. It was an opportunity for meetings for representatives of the Agency.
During the four days of the fair, the POLSA booth was visited by many visitors. There were among them. Minister of National Defense - Mr Antoni Macierewicz and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Development - Mr Mateusz Morawiecki.
Representatives of the Agency informed about the current activities of the institution. POLSA promotional materials were very popular.
Our stand had, among others. CHOMIK geological penetrator model from the Space Research Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences and satellites model PW-Sat2 from the Student Aerospace College of the Warsaw University of Technology. Additional attraction was the presentation of Mars rover - Legendary Rover Team from Rzeszów University of Technology. Winners of the University Rover Challenge 2015.
The POLSA booth was organized jointly with the Military Academy of Engineering - Institute of Machine Building.
Deputy Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at POLSA booth XXIV MSPO has been marked by the Polish defense industry, despite the fact that at this year's Kielce Trade Fair a record number of 614 companies from 30 countries took part. Once again, the event was honored with the Honorary Patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda, who honored his presence with the ceremony of awarding prizes. The MSPO was accompanied by the XXII International Logistics Fair LOGISTICS. Both events were visited by a total of 50 official delegations from 46 countries, and more than 22,000 delegates from 46 countries.
