Thirteen of the Polish companies took part in the Space Tech Expo in Bremen - the largest fair event in Europe devoted exclusively to space technologies. For the first time Poland had its stand at the fair, which was prepared by POLSA, ARP and ZPSK.
The Polish stand served the presentation and promotion of the national space sector and facilitated its representatives to establish and develop contacts with foreign partners. It was used by representatives of such entities as: Blue Dot Solution, GMV, Hertz Systems, ITTI, Mobica, MURB Space, PIAP Space, PZL Mielec, Sat Revolution, Saule Technologies, Sener, Shoot Capsule and Spectator. B2B talks were held at the booth, and representatives of PAK, ARP and ZPSK passed promotional materials and information on the national space sector to visitors.
On Tuesday, 24 October, 2017, a networking meeting was organized at the stand for Polish entities and foreign guests representing, among others: OHB (Germany), NEXEYA (France), association of Wallonia companies - SKYWIN Aerospace Cluster (Belgium), Czech Space Alliance (Czech Association of Entrepreneurs), ZARM Space Technologies (Germany), Center Spatial de Liege (Belgium), Lambda-X (Belgium), OIP (Belgium).
Participation in the fair was also an opportunity for several representatives of the PAK to hold a dozen or so bilateral meetings with representatives of the global space sector entities, such as: North Alabama International Aerospace Association, Czech Space Alliance, NEXEYA, Greek aerospace cluster SI-Cluster, Pentcon BV, ICE Cubes / Space Applications Services NV, Adamant Composites, Adaptronic Prueftechnik, ARTS Solutions, EnduroSat. The purpose of the meetings was to discuss the possibilities of bilateral cooperation with the participation of Polish companies, to familiarize with the offer of foreign entities and to present the potential of the Polish space sector.
The 2nd edition of Space Tech Expo in Bremen was held on 24-26.10.2017. About 200 exhibitors from all over Europe took part in it. The most numerous were the space sector from Germany, France, Belgium and Great Britain. Among the exhibitors there were: Airbus D & S, Thales Alenia Space, OHB, Ruag, German research institutes: Max Planck Institute, Frauenhofer Institute, ZARM, ESA or DLR space agencies, as well as industry organizations from France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Greece. The next European edition of Space Tech Expo will take place in Bremen in 2019.
The trade fair event in Bremen was another event during which PAK organized a Polish stand for the entities of the Polish space sector. In 2017, the agency also prepared stands during Paris Space Week, Paris Air Show and MSPO in Kielce, which were used by about 30 Polish companies and research institutes.
