Grzegorz Brona appointed a president of Polish Space Agency

Grzegorz Brona was appointed President of POLSA by the Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on March 13th, 2018. He took office on March 14th, 2018.

He was an assistant professor at the Faculty of Physics of the University of Warsaw and the co-author of many scientific articles published i.a. in „Physical Review Letters”, „Nuclear Instruments and Methods” and „Nature”. Between 2009 and 2011, he worked at the European Organization for the Nuclear Research - CERN. Having graduated from the Faculty of Physics of the University of Warsaw, Mr. Brona later on completed his Ph.D. degree in physics also at the University of Warsaw.
Grzegorz Brona is the co-founder of Creotech Instruments S.A. – one of the largest Polish companies operating in the space sector. He has managed the company as its CEO since 2015.
Between 2015 and 2018, he was a member of the Council of POLSA.
