Thales Alenia Space has been designing, integrating and managing innovative space systems for over 45 years. Thales Alenia Space is a joint venture be-tween French Thales (67%) and Italian Leonardo (33%). Thales Alenia Space posted consolidated revenues of approximately 2.2 billion euros in 2022 and has around 8,500 employees. We are present in 10 countries with 17 sites in Europe and a plant in the US.

In addition, Thales Alenia Space and Telespazio form the Space Alliance, which offers a full range of services and solutions for satellite systems.

It inaugurated its activity in Poland in 2015. The Polish company has experience in implementing telecommunications and navigation projects, Earth observation, planetary exploration, environmental protection and research related to orbital infrastructure. Thales Alenia Space Polska implements projects for the European Space Agency and cooperates with scientific and research centers, as well as with the Polish industry.

The most important achievements in the space sector
  • ESA’s programs:
    • ATHENA SIB Development Model – structural analyses  & mechanical design of the complete structure sub-system (CFRP composite & metallic) , its development, manufacturing (Polish supply chain) and AIT. Specification of MGSE, such as Tests Adapters, Panel Integration Stand, Mass Dummies.
    • Multi-Mission Platform (MMPF) Phase 1  – structural analyses & mechanical design of the platform and manufacturing of the sandwich panels (Polish supply chain).
    • CHIME – structural analyses and mechanical design of the platform.
    • PLATO Avionics units mass dummies – mechanical design and manufacturing (Polish supply chain) of the product.
    • GATEWAY Lunar Space Station I-HAB (International Habitation) module – mechanical design and manufacturing (Polish supply chain) of external secondary structures.
