The Wrocław Institute of Spatial Information and Artificial Intelligence (WIZIPISI) was founded by a group of scientists and enthusiasts specializing in artificial intelligence, spatial information systems, and space technologies. Our ambition is to translate scientific achievements in these fields into practical, everyday applications.
WIZIPISI provides services in the GIS, EO, and AI markets, leveraging cutting-edge and advanced methods that set us apart from the competition. Our goal is to conduct and commercialize innovative research in the areas of artificial intelligence, geographic information systems, and space technologies.
Our expertise, combined with the support of renowned authorities in GIS, EO, and IT from Poland, Europe, and around the world, enables us to achieve research and implementation results of the highest standard.

Main products and services
  • HOPE The primary goal of the service is to predict population density distribution using artificial intelligence (AI), Earth Observation (EO) data, and other data sources to determine ground risk classes for unmanned flight operations.
  • VertiRapid A prototype of a web service utilizing developed algorithms to automate the process of determining parameters characterizing guideline-defined zones for dynamically located landing pads for vertical take-off and landing unmanned aerial vehicles.
  • R-ABLE  An AI-based platform for monitoring arable land using EO data to support food security analyses and decision-making processes.
  • CREODIAS Copernicus Data and Information Access Services  – WIZIPISI was responsible for the design and implementation of semantic search (knowledge base) and INSPIRE services for EO products.
The most important achievements in the space sector
  • Participation in numerous application projects for ESA, including as a leader: 1) GET-AIR, 2) HOPE, 3) VertiRapid, and as a consortium partner: 1) CreoDIAS, 2) CheckGREEN, 3) BFPaaS, as well as for the European Commission: 1) R-ABLE.
  • Establishing partnerships with global operators in the space sector: 1) Synspective, 2) SpaceWill, 3) Synergise, 4) Planetek.
  • Years of experience delivering high-resolution satellite orthophoto maps for the LPIS system for ARMiR.
  • Active participation in conferences related to the use of space sector data, including: 1) DG Agri workshop for the DIAS Consortia, 2) Space for Smart and Green Cities, 3) Towards Space Powered Economy BASS Conference.
