Polish aerospace and aviation sector at ILA Berlin Air Show 2024 – fair report
June 28, 2024

From June 5th to 9th, the ILA Berlin Air Show took place. In this year’s edition, representatives of Polish SMEs from the aerpospace and aviation sectors were present under the banner of a new project – Poland. Business Forward. Aerospace&Aviation Industry, which has been implemented by the Polish Space Agency (POLSA) since March on behalf of the Ministry of Development and Technology. During the trade fair, representatives of the aerospace sector had the opportunity to showcase their achievements and gain new partners for international cooperation.

The national booth served as an open meeting space for entities targeted by the project. Companies showcased their exhibits and promotional materials, and engaged in business discussions with potential partners. Representatives from the Polish Space Agency were also present to support entrepreneurs in their activities, promote the Polish aerospace sector, and facilitate networking.

On the first day, the official inauguration of the Poland. Business Forward. Aerospace&Aviation project took place with the participation of representatives from the ZBH Frankfurt, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Berlin, POLSA, and the organizers of the ILA Berlin Air Show.

On the second day of the event, a networking event was organized by the City of Rzeszów, which works to promote the aerospace sector in its region. The guests at the booth were welcomed by the President of Rzeszów, Konrad Fijołek, who encouraged collaboration with entrepreneurs from the region. Representatives from the Aviation Valley were also present at the booth during the meeting.

Each day of the trade fair was an opportunity to get to know the Polish aerospace sector better. This was facilitated by daily presentations in English led by industry expert Dr. Adam Dąbrowski.

The ILA Berlin Air Show is one of the most important international aerospace exhibitions in the world. It is organized every two years in Berlin. This event attracts exhibitors and visitors from around the globe, showcasing the latest achievements and innovations in civil aviation, military aviation, and space technologies.
