Kraków Technology Park has actively participated in developing favourable conditions for entrepreneurship in the past 25 years. It operates a Technology Incubator explicitly designed for early-stage ICT companies. KTP also supports and inspires the startup community by organising events that help to validate business concepts.
KTP implements acceleration programmes and provides support in the form of seed funding, tax exemptions under the Polish Investment Zone programme, and preferential office rental conditions. KPT is the leader of the hub4industry consortium aiming to support businesses in implementing Industry 4.0 solutions.
Krakow Technology Park supports companies and initiatives in the space sector, particularly technology transfer from the space sector and the use of satellite data.

The most important achievements in the space sector
  • Since 2016, Krakowski Park Technologiczny has supported companies operating in the space sector. It organises meetings, conferences, and hackathons to popularise space technologies ranging from satellite data processing to technologies used in space. Furthermore, KPT carries out incubation and acceleration programmes for companies and teams in the space sector.
  • KPT also runs the Technology Broker & Business Ambassador project intended to support businesses in technology transfer for the European Space Agency (ESA). As a technology broker for space technologies, ESA is looking for technologies derived from the space sector and assists in reaching out to technology adopters ready to employ selected solutions for non-space needs. KTP also supports companies in securing grants for technology transfer.
